Why should I be a Hibernian?
Learn about Irish culture and history:
Several meetings throughout the year feature guest speakers
or documentaries highlighting Irish history and culture.
Be proud to be Irish:
Hibernians believe that being Irish is more than just
wearing green on Saint Patrick’s Day. By joining, you become part
of community of Irish men with a strong sense of participation in
the community whether the community is the local Irish families of
Missoula
or our friends across the sea.
Become educated in the peace process:
The Freedom For All of Ireland committee keeps the rest of
our local chapter informed of major current events affecting the
peace process through letters and other correspondence with key
individuals living in the troubled areas. The committee also
actively lobbies
U.S.
officials on behalf of peace and justice issues in the North of
Ireland.
Meet people with similar interests:
Our meetings are not only informational, but fun. Our
local chapter members keep things lively with interesting
conversation and good times.
